People and the cosmopolitan nature of the city. The greenery. The food. The biodiversity. The love for pets. The national and international connectivity. The city provides pretty much everything a large city should—barring good infrastructure.

agree on all the things... Especially the last one. The love for pets. This nonsense is a recent phenomenon. There are a few women in my area who carry food in boxes everyday and serve the strays. Because of that my area is flooded with stray dogs. These people will love animals as long as they stay out of their houses. Cannot go for a walk at the night, without them chasing. Liberal idiots.

It's comfortable lol. I may be biased cuz I'm born and brought up here but never have I found another place in India I would rather be. At least until retirement.
I like how it has personified the hardworking/ achievement spirit of our Country.
To give a weird perspective---
During kaveri riots, it was brutally sad and unacceptable to see Silk Board without traffic.
We created that monster at silk board. No matter how troubling it was India used to travel, n give middle finger to silk board traffic and go to work, achieve something, earn and come back home.
But that day when the city surrendered to 3rd class thugs, the contrast at silk board was stark.
That's when I appreciated the enormous power behind silk board aka 'go achieve something' spirit of people in Bangalore and Bangalore's part in enabling in nurturing and enabling that ecosystem...
That's what I am proud of Bangalore.
