If its a startup that got recent funding then ask for 90-100% hike.
If its another MNC like Infosys, ask for 40% hike or more.
If its a struggling company at the moment like Paytm, expect them to lowball your offer. Expect 20-25% hike or less. But ask for more.
If its a semiconductor domain company like Infineon, ask for 90-100% hike.
If its a public company, ask for a 60% hike and RSUs worth equivalent to base pay.
In all cases there is a chance you might get less than what you asked for. But keep this benchmark in mind while negotiating salary. Only in rare cases they'll accept your asking hike.
