I work for a Series A start-up in Bangalore. I have 5 YOE and my current base is 21 LPA and ~5L worth of ESOPs a year.
Seeing Grapevine salary charts, I feel I might be underpaid. Should I negotiate or look for other opportunities or is the base I am getting now alright?

Recruiters ask current CTC and offer CTC + 1L only. So getting 20LPA is just a dream to me
Do offer shopping and squeeze as much as you can from it then a switch after 6-8 months
It should be around 45LPA even my cheap ass company is paying me so less and treat us like a robot.
They have no shame even after doing so much hardwork they behave like a cheap. And saying this is not done that is not done.
You dont have bandwith you dont have clarity what you want. After building the features saying this should not be like this what were you doing when I was building the feature.

If you are working for 8 hours or more in a day as an SDE-2, which i am guessing you are, then you are unpaid . You can easily get upto 40
Base should not be less than 35 for your yoe if you are above average

Am I underpaid ? I have more than 5 years of experience as a Java Fullstack and Backend Developer. CCTC - 18LPA (Base - 16.2 LPA + Variable - 1.8 LPA)
Got an offer for 15 LPA (12 fixed + 3 variable) for SDE-2 role in Pune. I have 2 years exp. Is this good or should I negotiate more? Current package is 10 LPA.
