How realistic is it to survive a PIP at Amazon India?
Is it easy to come back from a PIP there or you'll be booted to meet their quota usually?
Can someone please help in deciding whether to take the pivot (payout) or fight it out with pip?
What happens if we take pivot? Will the relieving letter have that we took the pivot option or some reason that says we are terminated due to performance?
If we take pivot, what happens to the vested and unvested RSUs?
Asking this for not just one person but for a couple of colleagues who are in this tough situation.
Take the pivot and utilise the time for external job search. Exit documents won’t have any impressions of performance. As the name suggests vested anyways will come to your account, you have to let go unvested.
For one friend, there is a scheduled vest by Nov end it seems, this has more weightage than his previous vests, so checking of ways to get that.
