How is the company, how is it work there , culture etc. any leads on above?
My flatmate recently quit Upswing. He had a HUGE fight with his manager and then quit the company with immediate effect. That same evening, I saw a group of 12-15 boys come home and sympathise with him. Turns out, all of them had the exact same history. The company CEOs are pretty amazing, but have shit work culture. They openly proclaim that if you're working with Upswing, that's all the life you need. You don't need a life outside of it. My flatmate was expected to go by 11 am, and leave not before 9/10 pm. The people are rude. No one's really trying to solve problems. Blame game is the only thing that really goes on. This has even gone to a point where one of their senior engineers (someone with political connections) has quit, and is now working actively towards fucking the CXOs over. He's the one who built all of Upswing's core systems and then was treated miserably. Employees are that mad at the company.
Overall, SHIT, TOXIC work culture.
However, if you're someone who's married to their work, has no life outside of work, and wants to be paid well, Upswing is a great place to be!
Their sales head is pretty rude. They don't respect clients either. We tried working with them because they were the biggest, dodged a bullet. It's better to work with someone who respects you.
