Any therapist recommendation?

Hey guys,

Waa going through some severe anxiety issues which always leads me into negative thinking spiral and some past issues.

Could you guys recommend me a therapist which you feel has been extremely helpful for you?

I would prefer only online mode for sessions.

Hey, hope you're doing fine, I have been through a similar situation and I know how it might feel. You could try connecting with The Secret Ingredient, it's based out of Pune, but they do provide online therapy sessions.

They have a team of therapists, one of my friends suggested to me to contact them and I've been taking sessions since February, and I feel a lot better than before now.

It's around 1800 for the first session, as it's a bit longer and then 1500 for all the sessions afterwards, a session usually lasts 50 mins -1 hr, but I'd say, make sure that you are consistent with your sessions and adhere to what your therapist suggests to you. Also please be open with your therapist, it's a safe space, it would help your therapist understand your issues better, it would take the therapist some time to understand you, so it'll take some time maybe a month or two for you to start noticing visible changes due to therapy.

You can try Amaha or BetterHelp. I’ve tried Amaha, and it’s good. Usually charges 2000-5000 for a one hour session depending on the therapist. Also, make sure that you’re consistent with Therapy. Because the first session is usually about the therapist trying to understand more about you situation, your personal/professional life, etc. It usually takes 1-2 months for the therapy to start taking effect.

You can go with an hourly session for the first one, and then half hour sessions every two weeks. And I understand that you’re looking for online, but physical sessions usually work much better, since the therapist can better read your body movements when you’re talking or listening.

I hope you get through this and feel better soon. :)

You can also join an Online Meditation and Breath Workshop by Art of Living to complement your therapy. I have seen many people in my network get a great sense of relief from anxiety and stress doing Sudarshan Kriya taught in the program. You can join it online using this link http://linktr.ee/i_am_a_sadhak
