I have been allotted 20,000USD stocks by Coursera

How to cash these stocks over the years. The tenure is for 4 years. What are the pros and cons here. Please suggest

You can sell them from the brokerage account Coursera provides you. Keep in mind that you will be taxed according to US 35.8% , but then , you will be refunded the amount of cash that was excess of your tax slab. You can sell these stocks only on certain specific dates ( trading window) that Coursera will tell you. Mostly ut will be only couple of weeks in a year. At the end of the vesting period you will be left with about ~60% of units due to taxes. This is the major con. The taxes are ridiculous. And on top of it you will have to pay Long-term capital gains tax if you don't sell before 2 years.

Are stock advisory subscriptions worth it?

I have taken up premium subscription of an equity advisory. They suggest me stocks to buy and sell. They offer two portfolios one for long term another one for short term. They told me I can expect a cagr of 30% over long term( from their historical data) . I am planning to invest annually 30% of my income into the long term portfolio. This over some years could give me huge returns. Note: I am not promoting them but I wanted to know if anyone in this community also uses some equity advisory to generate long term wealth. I'd like to know what features they come up with.

Employee Stock Options - US Startup

I have got an offer from a US startup that includes stock options. But their exercise period is of three months. While I did some research and got to know that an individual has to pay tax while exercising stock options, so if i exercise I will be taxed on (Stock value - exercise price)*Quantity. The amount will be huge. Need your inputs on how i should navigate this given that exercise period is going to be three months, so If I leave I will have to pay this amount within 3 months.

Should I join a seed stage startup?

My current comp is around 45lpa and 30lpa in stocks. A seed stage startup is offering me 30lpa in cash and 25lpa in stocks. I really feel that this startup can go places. Any advise?
