Folks with 5 yrs of Post MBA work-ex...

I've started looking for a new PM job. Haven't switched ever before. Need help here. What is the salary I should look for now? Profile: - 5 year experience with a unicorn startup - Tier 1 MBA - 1yr - 1.5 yrs experience with an IT MNC Total: 6.5 yrs PM experience: 4.5 yrs Currently, at 18+1.5L. Need genuine help. Also, is it possible to market correct my salary in just 1 jump?

Just wanted to see general sentiment. Coming from a tier 1 clg in du most roles offer between 50-80k base, not including variable. Also do mention the field you've gotten into, thanks.

What is the future scope of the PM job role...will it still be relevant after 10 years, Is going to IIMs spending close to 25 lakhs in this economy to get into a PM job role justified?? Context: I know many people will say you don't need IIM to break into PM, But considering I'm a 25 Male, from tier 3 college...currently working as a product designer with 8 lpa...so I think the only way to reach 25-30 lpa in hand by 28 is by joining IIMs

Hi, One of my friends posted a job in our batch group but posted that 'this might be suitable for junior folks as salary is low'. Out of curiosity, I asked the salary in DM and the salary was more than what I was earning. So this puts me in a self degrading situation and hence I want to know the salary of fellow 2017 MBA grads. I'm a BTech/MBA Finance guy about to complete a year in software sales with IBM and want to switch to analyst or such roles in Asset Management companies. What is the best way to get in? How to prep for interviews? And what is the best way to apply if I have no one to refer me? Since this is my first job switch what pay should I expect? Same as IBM (25 CTC) or lower or higher?

I currently work in one of the Big 4 firms as an analyst.. After completion of Btech I joined Deloitte in Oct,2023 ... After being in this field for about 7 months now.. What would be better in order to improve salary scale - a) Getting masters in management domain from a good university next year then joining as consultant or b) working for 2 yrs and getting promoted further as consultant ( keeping in mind that my CTC right now is 6LPA only)

Context: almost 5 YOE, BTech + MBA both from tier 3. Current CTC 32LPA including variable and retention bonus (24.3 is fixed). I work as an APM in a pharma consulting organisation (which also has a SaaS platform) in Pune. Recently Got an offer from a tier 1 consulting company (not MBB but close enough) for a pretty new role of product + project management for one of their saas tools. The offer is 20% hike on my fixed + variable upto 15% + 2L JB. And it’s in Mumbai which is my hometown. I tried negotiating but the hiring manager said this is the best offer they can give. The job role will require infrequent travel to client locations and overall seems interesting. I’m in a dilemma if I should accept or not because the brand is infinitely better than my current organisation and will open up exit opportunities to MBB. On the other hand my professional growth in current organisation seems stagnant as there is not a lot to learn here but monetary growth has been good. (10-15% hikes every year).
