Best way to keep liquid funds.

I wish to create an emergency fund for my 6 months expenses. Let's say around 3 lacs. Should I opt for FD or some savings account with a high interest rate?

FD- You can always create 6 FD of 50K each, so that you can break a few without affecting other, if you need some amount. Keep it simple.

There's Money Market funds that give you 6-8% pre-tax interest with an easy liquidity option. You can consider those. Cheers!
