You admire someone and listen to them talk, you realise how their personality has no depth

1. You lose that admiration 2. They were always like this, it is our brain that thought of them as someone better Such a shitty place to be individually

Reason why therapy doesnt work on men

I might sound biased but hear me out. Therepists are cheapstake businessmen/businesswomen anyway. We are always questioned for sharing stuff They pretend that they are listening to us but all they care about is their fees. They keep looking at the clock as to when the session would get concluded. They secreatly "But why would you blame all the therapists just because yours was toxic?". Nice question. The moment you open up, they start drawing a perception. That point on, they only look down upon you as a person and consider you a massive loser. They might say the opposite but they dont really mean any of that. My therapist, she went out of the way to convince me that I dont deserve to be loved. She pointed out that just because I feel too many things at once, I might have trouble emotionally satisfying a woman and should be okay with lonliness. She suggested me to play a sport, not because she wanted me to stay fit, but simply because "being sporty might increase my masculanity". I have never been good at sports (never interested me). I have always been into music and poetry. I have been composing music since I was 16. I have no regrets. Why would you berate me just because my hobbies dont fit into a certain mould. I have heard enough from other people about not being sporty. Victim blaming must be stopped in the pretext of "only you can help yourself" or "work on those factors which you control". Men cant reveal their problems to their friends and family as they would start judging them. They cant even share such concerns with their romantic partners because of the fear of losing them or sounding incompatible. And voila ! Medical therapy also turned out to be a sham for men. Traits of a toxic workplace

Not sure how many anime fans are here, but I was recently watching this new anime called ā€œZom 100: Bucket List of the Deadā€, which basically shows how a corporate employee is so fed up with his messed up job, that the first thought he has, when zombie apocalypse hits is, ā€œI donā€™t have to go to work anymore!ā€, and heā€™s out to do things that he always wanted to. Anyways, in the new episode, its shown how a toxic leader/boss/senior behaves. And man, was that so accurate!! It shows how these leaders make you work like hell, belittle you, and misbehave with you. Even if you think of leaving the job, they make you believe how hard it is to survive without your current job, and how the work youā€™re doing is nothing, and that you can be easily replaced. And in the end, after fucking up your mental peace, they will come and show a little bit of sympathy, telling they how they just push you for your own sake. Acting like some wise old ā€œmentor you never hadā€. And you know, what the worst part is, since all your colleagues are living in the same environment, since everyday you go through the same toxicity over n over, it becomes normal for u. Your brain adjusts, and it seems to think that this is how the world is. Moreover, if you are a fresher, and you donā€™t have any prior experience of work culture, you seem to believe thats how work life is, and will always be. Iā€™m ranting this out, since i wasted around 1-1.5 years of my life in such startup, and it wasnā€™t just the time that was wasted, it also took my passion, my energy, my motivation and my goal with it. To all the folks who might be in a similar situation, I just want to say, I know itā€™s hard and I know you probably canā€™t leave due to some financial situations or other issues. But BELIEVE ME when i say that nothing in this entire world comes above your mental health. Save that first folks. Be selfish, saving others can wait!
