Amazon to layoff 10,000 employees
According to a report, Amazon will be terminating 10,000 jobs starting this week, which represents less than 1% of its 1.5 million global employees and around 3% of the company's corporate staff.
Morgan Stanley estimates that Amazon will cut nearly 14,000 managerial roles by the end of Q1 2025.

Amazon has already made clear of their intent to layoff more employees in 2023. This could be a huge stress signal for all of 2023. Amazon is the only company to probably admit it.

Round 2 of layoffs at Amazon will happen this Jan. This time from retail division. Headcount not yet confirmed. But it’ll be in rabge of 10k to 20k.
