Hi everyone, just wanted to ask something idk if you get it or not but things are hard on me lately ...i am an it professional with good 2.5 yoe but I feel like i belong in management side of world not here and for that i want to pursue MBA and that's my interest i want to make career switch but lately at my home my marriage discussion has began...i am going to be 26 in july and everyone think i am already little late (yes, that's the reality According to them) i told them about my aspirations they said do it after the wedding...and i am hell confused what should i do because I don't want to be in it (less salary and hectic work in which i have no interest) ...and idk what kinda person i am gonna meet in wedding setup ...even i will be able to pursue it or not ....tell me how you deal with it...any suggestions will be helpful.

Both pro-cons i'm seeing currently is: Data science: ~ future technology ~ more interesting & diverse work Downside: so much competition as every college now opening new AI ML dept & Because of low entry criteria anyone can jump to this field little interest or few online courses Data Engineer: ~ Entry point is bit tough as Specific technology knowledge req which is generally not being taught in colleges, Hence less competition Downside: Identical & boring tasks mostly Which seems to win in near future in terms of pay or job security? Any suggestions as welcome!

In my life till now I have approached two, which got declined citing religion, caste as barriers etc I am a Jatt Sikh, and I am ugly and I accept that Although it's foolish to think of that much ahead future, although I accepted that these things aren't for me and I will spend the rest of my life in tech and drawing stuff and gym and will explore other hobbies on the go But still my mind constantly ponders me I will be lonely for the path ahead, and dual thoughts of even though I did get married, I will get cheated upon, getting scared of fake cases and will not find a vir*in Plus I also get scared of even talking to women Thinking the other gender has power to do what they want since laws are completely on their side These thoughts are pondering constantly over my head for the past 6 months Pls help

25M. My parents keep on asking to get marry Because I am earning.. But the thing is I am not prepared for this, need to achieve my goals, not sure I will be reaching my goals after marriage. more over there are some trust issues on arranged marriages. Also I do get this on my mind some times, does marriage is mandatory, can't we live without marriage, I feel this when I see married people pretends that they are happy outside but they are not inside, reasons might differ, lack of understanding, compromises, adjustments, Financial instability . I'm seeking advice on how to handle a sensitive situation that's been affecting my well-being. As a young woman in my 30s, I'm still unmarried and my younger cousins or relatives have all gotten married. While I'm genuinely happy for them, I sometimes feel pressure and low self-esteem when people ask me when I'll be getting married or imply that something is wrong with me for not being married yet. It's not like i don't want to however in a vunurable situation when it comes to emotional connection stuff.I am a bigtime dog lover and I am happy being with my dog and parents too. As someone who values my family's opinions and approval, it's hard for me to ignore these comments and not take them personally. How can I deal with these kinds of situations in a healthy way and maintain my self-confidence despite societal expectations?"

29 M, IT professional in Bangalore earning around 65k/month. My parents are looking for girl(non-working) for my marriage later this year.(already knows girls family). But I am worried about all the expenses post-marriage as Bangalore is already a costly city and I will only be sole-earner. I am a 26/M/60+LPA/IITian Software Engineer at a FAANG. I have spent most of my time travelling places with my friends/solo and have dedicated a significant portion of my small life to my career, and I am quite happy with it. I am confused about one thing tho, should I get married? given I am happy living like this, I just want to hear what men have to say on this, I want to know given a chance would you guys get married? If yes how to check if a woman is a fine fit for you? I made a rule to only date a woman who makes at least 70% of my salary OR has an excellent academic background AND should be humble. With these set of rules the chances of finding a girl is almost slim to none given ratio at good colleges and at high paying tech jobs are like that 🤧, I am sure people won't find these rules good, but I want to know if I am being stupid pls correct me it will help me reshape my thinking.
