Are you happy with your marriage?

I am a 27M and earn 7 LPA from a mechanical engineering background, which I know is very low compared to today's standards. Software and MBA guys are earning significantly more. In today’s world, money is important if you want to travel or live comfortably. By switching companies or pursuing an executive MBA, I believe I can reach a decent level in the future. One thing I’ve observed is that in dating, girls don't seem to care much about how much you earn. But when it comes to marriage, the financial aspect becomes more important. Which isn’t wrong at all. Of course, I’m not generalizing, and I know there are women who don’t prioritize money. Also, it’s true that ambitious people often look for equally ambitious partners. What are your views on this? I’d especially like to know from girls.

Hi guys I am facing some issues with my family members, they are constantly trying to convince me to get married with someone, although my mom is supportive but my dad is not, I am fighting with them almost everyday, i somehow left my job life been on bench since long periods, not able to Focus properly on my health, not able to sleep properly at night time, got infections in my body, I am feeling shattered don't know what should I do I'm 26F working in an IT service based company, I need your suggestions guys Thank you

I am turning 25 next month and my family is after me for getting married. They are saying you need to start looking now so that you will find someone in 1.5-2.5yr till then you will be 27-28. But I am not sure whether I am ready or not I am working in an early stage startup so the job is also not stable. I also have goals to achieve before marriage like a foreign trip and buying a car at the same time what family is saying is making sense to me what should I do?

Hello Viners, I graduated in 2019,(27 male) most of my life I have worked from home. I am an introvert,Recently I got a new job offer and I am finally moving to Bangalore. My mom is asking me to get married. The main concern of my mom : As I get older, getting good rishta is difficult. My situation: As of now I don't have any loans to pay. Throughout my life,I have spent a significant amount of my money to take care of my older brother's education and family responsibilities. Now,my dad says I am still young to get married. I am torn between my mom and dad.Of course,at the end of the day it will be my decision I won't make decisions due to my mom's pressure. But I have seen my colleagues in 29-30s struggling to get married.is it same across whole india? Just wanted to ask fellow viners,when did you think you were ready to get married?

I am 28 F working from home since past few years. I've recently gotten promoted and my in hand TC has increased to 1.2 cr/year. I have been looking for arranged marriage prospects but unable to find. I am very worried that I will become undesirable because of my high salary! People who approach me are only approaching because of my TC and not real connections. They have desires of purchasing house, etc. How can I find a real connection and what is to happen if I'm unable to find someone. If there is someone in this boat, please share your thoughts.

So when my parents ask again, I’ll keep saying, “not yet.” - idk where this will land me, but I don't really know better!

Looking for opinions: If a guy is settled in a tier 3 town, earning a good income, owns a large house, and has a couple of businesses, with supportive and open-minded family, and no bad habits, would you consider moving there? About the guy: - 6 feet tall, well-mannered, average-looking, with a good nature - Recently received a marriage proposal, parents are asking me to consider but want to leave final decision to me. The town might not have a lot of activities, but it offers a strong family environment and a spacious home. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Fuck , what a waste of weekend. story - I am 27 years old and i am not rich enough like grapevine people. I earn 9 LPA and doing remote job. So parents started looking for girl for arrange marriage. So there is program arranged in our caste where boy and girl has to register beforehand. Registration fees is 500 per person and 400 for booklet. So i paid around 1900 and lunch is also included. This program invites all the prospects under one roof and booklet was given. Booklet has all the details of prospects.So registered candidates can have multiple meetings with different people. As you already guessed it this is problem of supply demand. Female candidates are way less and male candidates are way more. We have so many experiences like girl family just outright reject you on the basis where i live. That girl was doing nothing and have done bcom. Also one girl family rejected us soon as we just sit for a meeting. Reason dad of female earns 4X than my father income. We had some meetings around 5-15 but hardly any positive response. Female family is able to do 20-25 meetings at minimum and they can have choice whom to reject just on weight factor too. Shitshow out their for arrange marriage. We had a quarrel at home after coming from program that i wore some multicolour tshirt thats why we dont have further meeting. Also my parents are giving me lecture that i should have wore gold chain and bracelet to impress other people. another thing in booklet , boys has to mention salary. There is no mandatory thing to mention salary of girl in same booklet. Also girls are given return gift for just attending the function.

Men in tech who are already earning high salaries. Have you married women earning well or housewife or earning very less compared to you(maybe in non-tech). Does you spouse who warns help in your day to day expenses or big expenses(trips,car,gifts,etc) or you take care of most of expenses? And non married men with high salary what you prefer. How is life for men with either of these. P.S - This is just to get an idea how life and money comes into picture for a couple, I respect all categories of men and women.
