Personal Branding | LinkedIn

I am building my personal brand (trying to) But oversight is, the strategy seems all over the place Do you/have you created? 1. What are the platforms you focus on? 2. Paid subscriptions that have help you in the journey Any advice in general is also welcome.

I’m dumbfounded when the best piece of advice I hear is that its a numbers game and probability is supreme. There’s got to be a strategy that one applies to shortlist from the ocean of offers out there. - applying in the same domain as your current company? - platform or regions where recruiters are more active? - directly talking to freelance HMs and doing a deal? If no hack, just share what worked for you? And how are you optimising the job searching?

I personally admire people who don't need to be on or use social media to run their businesses. But it's become difficult to avoid not sharing something ever so often to stay relevant. People have goldfish memory spans and seem to forget things easily these days. They need reminders that xyz brand/person still exists. Plus I'm a private person and don't really like talking about myself much. And meaningful share-worthy work milestones only happen once in a while. Any good examples of people who have grown personal brands without posting occasional selfies on LinkedIn? How about outside LinkedIn? The only one that comes to my mind is Michael Burry, but I'm not nearly as good a trader as him.

Being someone who gets bored easily, I don't have that urge, or lets say am reluctant to start work everyday (analytics - not a fresher). Keeping switching aside, what's something I could do to find ownership? If not for turning this to something extremely interesting, least I wouldn't want to go through this every morning. As the caption says, I am keen to explore if there are any examples of real life benefits of LinkedIn activity. I am afraid to fall in cringe-bucket, at the same time get FoMo of remaining invisible to corporate pigs. Any thoughts? ( just like LinkedIn style;) ) P.S. - my latest LinkedIn activity stat : 1 hiring post in last 6 months.

Why do female founders and other budding LinkedIn female influencers post their personal pictures(gym photos, selfies, random photos of themselves) on LinkedIn? It’s a professional platform for fucks sake. You don’t post these photos on Leap Club but LinkedIn is okay because validation. And nobody calls them out. Men are lost in simp behaviour and others ignore them.
