Who taught you to read time on the clock?

Today on Saturday I got a call from office grandma ( 20 years in same company) , she started arguing that I didn't sent her the update and showed me her what's app screenshot. I noticed that there is no net sign on top near battery indicator. What the hell, why companies keep such people , they have 0% technology knowledge, can't use decent tools , don't know gmail interface . Why the hell ?

I have been talking to this woman lately at work since the past 2 months (I KNOW dating at workplace isnt a great idea but pasand aagai kya karu) . Currently, we are mere workplace buddies and not in a relationship. On somedays she is like really friendly with me and starts talking about her life and I love listening to her. On certain days she is extremely unapproachable and feels like a stranger. I know mood swings hote etc but why would she ignore me completely on some days while try to engage in meaningful conversations on other days. It keeps alternating and its very annoying. I feel like supporting her on bad days but she doesn lt want that it seems. Yeh odd even kar kar ke mai thakk gaya hu I just want her. Every single fckin day of my life. She makes my day a little more worthy every time we talk, and I feel when you find such people, you shouldnt let them go !

Well it's not just pure luck i did identify leaders of the current run and have been doing this for quite some time now. But the moves in my portfolio have been amazing and pretty smooth during recent fall as well. My top 3 winners are - Jindal - +23.14% ABB - +39% SIEMENS - +44.32% These 3 stocks have given me a lot of cushion to operate further. The Nifty moved around 300 points in just 20 to 25 minutes, potentially wiping out months of gains for option writers and cleared up all the short term bearish players out of the system.Such moves in a single day can decimate months and months of hardwork. Just stay away from options if you can. VIX often rises during election years, as seen in 2014 and 2019. I will only be concerned if it crosses 30 and stays there. Otherwise, it's not worth overanalyzing.People link rise in VIX with Possibility of government changes but if the market senses a shift, 8-12% would just go in a few sessions. The market will not give us a lot of time to manage our positions.

Was having a conversation with my SO today. I think we’re probably the last generation who watched animated shows on TV as kids, as now the new trend is of “iPad” babies who watch content online? We started discussing about how the channel you used to watch as a kid tells you so much about that person. Like kids that watch Nickelodeon were so different than the kids who used to watch Disney. And the Cartoon Network kids were unhinged. 👀 Man, I don’t know how old is this audience but we used to have shows like Avatar-The Last Airbender, Kochikame, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon. And much before that Oswald, Noddy, Dexter’s Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls etc. What is your favourite animated show from back in the day? Would love to hear some stories. Qualifications: BTech IT from tier-3 college, Pass Out in 2021, CGPA 7 Skills: Python + DSA (Intermediate), HTML, CSS, JS (Intermediate). In 2021 I was preparing for government job and was really passionate about govt services but I failed in CDS II 2021 and lose all of my focus and my parents want me to get a job in related field so in January 2022 I started looking for job in IT but I was not good at anything and so I thought I wasn't job ready and start learning to Python and DSA and Web Development but in meantime I procrastinated and wasted so much of my time I was demotivated with zero focus and after months I am still not good at anything I don't have anything to show on my resume no projects, no experience nothing. I have wasted more than a year just thinking what should I do and got nowhere. Lately I started to learn web dev from theodinproject.com and have completed foundations. Tbh i wasted time during this learning phase also and manage to complete this in a month. And after that I started to learn reactjs (haven't completed it yet) And now I am really desperate for a job. What should I do to get a job with minimum preparation like give 1 months and get a job? I am not looking for something specific. I don't have any goals. ATM I have no idea what I am passionate about. I'm 24 and unemployed and How can I turn my life around? All those years in school and college I never worked hard enough but now I regret it. I want to work hard now but have been procrastinating a lot. I need guidance on how to get a job and what to learn further to get a job. I would really appreciate it if you guys can guide me.

Just saw the post about dystopian policies at work which is mostly criticism. If you were the HR / Founder how would you ensure punctuality? Or do you think punctuality is irrelevant as long as you are getting the work done? Curious to know the right way to handle these things.
