Currently interviewing for the role of Senior ML Engineer at a Mumbai based startup called IDFy. Interviews were quite good, however I’m getting mixed reviews of IDFy via Glassdoor and ambitionbox. So thought of asking here.
Their marketing is good, product is also fine. Revenue reliance on video kyc is a little too much, overall not profitable but thats because they are expanding rapidly in a few international markets. How much are they paying for how many years of experience?
Thanks for your response. I am still in the process of interview, last stage pending, however, my current base pay is 20LPA and I’m asking for 25LPA, even kn that they asked if I’m ready to negotiate. How much do you think is a good amount for ML Engineer with 3 years of work experience?
I interviewed a PM from there 2 months back, he makes about 20LPA, had an experience of 2yrs. I think you should be asking for more
Strong competition from Perfios and hypeverge in VKYC. They are loosing market share.
Yeah I know that. Btw, I interned at HyperVerge for 6 months as a deep learning intern, so I understand how competitive the VKYC and eKYC market is. HyperVerge is focusing on other products, and there is not much to do in AI on that side, however at IDFy I was very clearly explained about what they’re building and what they’re trying to achieve, and I liked that.
Hyperverge is deeply focused on international expansion for their onboarding journey orchestrator, and a legal product they are building. There are a few possibilities with Idfy, they might be working on document ocr/digitisation, video kyc/digitisation improvements - lots of player doing this though. Anything unique which you think will help you?
