Hey! I am sorry I will sound obnoxious but 50 lpa at 17yrs exp is low if you are at a Tier 1 Tech firm or Tier 1 MBA or both ( wasn't clear from your post)
8 yrs total experience here. Tier 1 MBA 55 lpa Fixed + esops (~90lac). I understand I am a bit overindexed but usually people at 10 yrs+ are for sure past 50 lpa mark.
Thanks, tier 1 MBA, but non tech. My network definitely suggests that the number is low but your numbers would be a really small percentile at that exp level..for e.g. I am aware that in my firm CTC wise I am roundabouts 1.2 Stdev from mean and although my firm is not the topmost payer in the market but close to top…so roughly extrapolated at 50 lakh/17 yrs I am still above median in the market-with a scope improvement to reach c. between 2-3 STDEV.

Are project managers roles in Bank MNC equivalent to product managers ? Or do you handle project delivery and timelines ?
Yeah, more of project/program planning, risk and issues management, ensuring delivery targets are met and reporting. Also managing senior stakeholders sans geography and building the portfolio up. It’s a nice role tbh but feels like i am pulling in lesser than industry standard.
