Does diversity hiring even happens at experienced level

Hi community, Wanted to know why MNCs give priority to hire girls over deserving folks? Got multiple calls and messages from juniors both from college and others that companies are hiring in the ratio of 8 girls to 1 boy. Is there any specific thing that the companies gain by this? Really saddened by this current scenario, first this reservation scenario, and now this diversity shit. Seems like it is a curse to be born as a General Male in this country.

I am from a Tier 1 college and we've our placement season going on. A lot of companies are visiting our campus and we noticed companies are recruiting more girls than boys. Even though they are less skilled. I am not against their empowerment or want to dominate them. I am just being curious over here. Any few findings from HR Dept.?

Pt1. I have seen folks, getting multiple offers , like for sde-1/sde-2 position , since I am also targeting the same , so how do folks are able to grab multiple offers ? I dont see HR reaching out enough to me , and most of the applications I apply to have we found better candidate at this pt. Pt2. I personally have seen very few womens being good at dsa , but at Linkedin I see even women's grabbing multiple offer, so for experienced women is the interview rounds as difficult or at same level as that of men for sde roles ? Or there is some diversity happening there as well?

Why does Adobe only hires women for new grads? They came thrice in my college for placements and hired 30 girls ,10 for mts at package of 44l(18base) They weren't even the smartest girls,let alone being the smartest in the whole batch. It's not new, they have been doing this from past 7 -8 yrs in almost all the colleges including old iits . What's the logic behind this? A lot of companies like apple ,natwest ,Tesco do but not in all colleges or not from the past decade

Seeing a lot of tweets in twitter where influencers are fighting over Diversity hiring. Your views?

After this all college guy diversity hiring e-lafda. I got the importance of pseudonymous platforms like Grapevine where we can rant out our opinions without getting canceled. By the way what do you think on this diversity hiring thing it was pretty same as ranting about reservations which mostly people do.

I don't understand why this happens the one who joined recently don't have any experience who is junir associate who gets paid more and more and when the senior asks for an hike which is always being judged by the managers who never wanna give hike and show partiality and gender bias and politics like same caste people will be getting hike. when the person who supposed to give hike is never responding to you giving you filthy reason forr a decent hike. What's the point of working there?? * * * * Do anyone relate to this situation?
