Can someone explain Dil Food funding to me?
She got a higher valuation before, but accepted at lower valuation and gave more of the equity pie She was getting an up round, but chose to stick with previous round valuations Why? What am I missing?

It's not necessary to always get more valuation at every round. That will make it difficult to raise the further up you go. Need to have a decent valuation that can be justified well all things considered.

@Rorschach They had offered at 100 cr, later kept at 75cr.
Is this huge valuation gap? I think it was pretty justifiable considering she has been profitable from start

Not very sure tbh, sometimes they cut stuff out to keep it simpler for TV even when actual negotiations can take upto an hour or more. Maybe there was more context.
Plus it's not unusual to get funded at last round, have seen it happen in other shark tanks as well (us, aus).

Vineeta trapped her. She wanted to have all of them at 75 cr valuation and once an investor knows that you want people more than money, they wont leave a chance to milk a few bps. As soon as vineeta got the sniff she asked for it.
Also she did not hesitate at all i guess in her subconscious mind she was ready to close any offer at 75 cr valuation.

She got trapped. Good investors don't go up and down on their committed valuation. They're clearly not great investors yet
