HRs how do you feel after layoffs?
Although you become the face of layoffs and you have to abide by what's instructed, how do you personally feel after a event like mass layoff?
What steps do you take to avoid or minimise the impact in such cases?
How the HRs react if you tell them you were laid off, please share your experience?
Also, what other reason we can give for looking out for change in less than 5 months?
I was laid off, and i got a new job too, all thanks to God, but whenever i had conversations with the HR teams, they were sympathetic and they understood the situation, and it actually worked in my favour cause i brought the tag of “immediate joiner”, which is a dollar sign in their eyes.
I did tell them. Because our product wanted to do rapid A/B testing, they are migrating away from native app into a PWA. Hence during recent restructuring, my job got redundant. HRs are people too and they'll be sympathetic.

P.S. I was told to resign and not terminated, which i did. I'm on my notice period now.
