Do you do trading ?

Recently can see many ppl discussing about trading in stocks than investment.

Also I do feel that the likely hood of Zerodha and other platforms to grow with the number of demat accounts being opened is increasing every year.

So will trading become a common thing which many would try as a part time and turn into full time with the catastrophic growth that everyone is projecting india in next 10 years ?

Yea just meant to be sudden and large scale growth for India economy overall..

“Brave go for trading Smart invest “

But who does really make most money ? Which has more influence or interest from the millennials/GenZ

It's not a race to the top.

It's a function of who has the money available when they need it for the purpose for which it was invested with meaningfully understood volatility on the way.

We confuse compounding for just being a mathematical equation. It's also a function of a series of emotional events and ones reaction to those.

So who makes most money is moot. There are infinite unique paths and investing is usually a steadier, less demanding path. I don't know of anyone who is exclusively a trader for the mid/long term who has made money.

You could be both - with pre-decided portfolio limits.

I think india would also reach 10% population actively participating in stock market in coming decade. Already lots of vulnerable people are getting scammed by social media celebrities as their reach increases market participation increases.

Albeit in my opinion sustained growth in Individual trading maybe not, mutual funds, etf, smallcase etc more likely possible.

To make a net profit by trading stocks or derivatives over a period of even an year one needs baseline common sense, which is lacking at mass, plus the blind sm idol worship culture is detrimental cherry on top.
