Does Success Make You Humble?

Not sure if anyone is successful enough to answer this question but still would really like to know what you folks think about it.

I know Success is a relative term. Here I am talking about that success when you are the absolute best in your field! Whatever you do, you are firmly sitting at the top. Do you think this level of success makes a person humble? It comes with endless supply of money and fame. One which you can only imagine in dreams and is achieved by a handful. What more is left once you achieve that? What are the challenges? What are the priorities now? How do they change given the fact that you don’t have to worry about the money factor at all. The only priority which I have seen is family!

Isn’t it surprising how everything eventually boils down to us and our loved ones? Is there something which is more important than our family?

Not sure about the humble part, but it shows the true character for sure.

Yeah, depends how you deal and manage your success. You can either boast and be arrogant about it or do something meaningful which creates an impact. The choice is upto the individual.

Most people on the top are not humble. And the ones who seem humble are conditionally humble, as in if you are good to them they will act with all the humility but try to poke too much and they will reveal how highly they think of themselves.

What makes you say people at the top are not humble? I don’t think there’s anything wrong if they are proud of their achievements. As long as they are not letting others down, it should be fine.

Everyone has different challenges in life. Many are not close with their families. Many others are struggling to find partners. If somebody has everything, they find new problems to fight against.

Eventually only pain and struggle give meaning. Overcoming them gives contentment.

Not necessarily true, it cannot be generalised. At the end. it all depends on priorities.

Success and money makes you more secure about yourself and your capabilities. You stop craving external validation when you have a tangible validation in your bank account. Things people say to or about you stop affecting cause you know their opinions doesn't matter. Not sure if you can call it being humble but it definitely helps with ur insecurities.
