How to save my sinking ship

I am deeply worried, to the extent of feeling depressed, about my career trajectory. I feel I made a mistake by switching tracks via doing an MBA with 10 yrs exp. I was a QA for a decade and tried a lot to break into PO roles( worked in a product based org on mobile apps for 6 years). It did not work and the director of PM advised me to do the one year fulltime MBA. Not sure why I gave in to his advice, but I gave GMAT and began with an 18 month Full time program at a Tier-1 Bschool. Cracked placement in the first go but got into IT services( not in WITCH), and now I am stuck being a PMO for a client. Even when I look at my resume, I see a crappy profile, everything is disjointed and makes no sense now. No wonder I get no calls. I don't want to go back to QA, this Project Management work is shitty( cannot see any learning happening, but the client is happy so I'm stuck in this project. ) I want to move to PM, thinking maybe CSPM can help, not sure where I am headed. Any guidance for this middle aged dinosaur 😞

I am really feeling bad and stuck, I am not getting what to do next after 14 yrs of IT Experienced. Facing difficulties and not getting good opportunities to up skill and not being able to manage work and family. I don't have soft skills to move to management or client face role, solution architecture. I am feeling my career going to end. Kindly suggest me.

I work as a SDE3 at a medium sized company. I have been working here for about 4 years and have been performing well enough to get top appraisals here every year consistently. From few months I have been fucking up A LOT. From NPEs in every release to getting whole company down for sometime. Every release of mine has been disastrous from quite a few months. I have not been performing well at all, missing on edge cases in grooming meeting and in testing as well. I'm not sure what has happened to me. I have not been like this at all in my 7 years of total career, and this has been very embarrassing for me in front of whole company. I'm actually thinking of naked resigning and just take a break of 1 month and then find a new job, but I'm too scared because of the current market conditions. What would you guys do in this situation?

I'm in serious trouble. I was an sde for 3+ years. Didn't like it, thought it's not meant for me and wanted a different job. Came across Product management, which piqued my interest. Somehow found a contract job at a startup and did it for a year. While it's not a traditional PM, it was more of a project manager. The contract ended, now I'm unemployed. Applied for jobs, no luck. Now I'm questioning my career choices, should I stick with PM or should I go back to being a techie. I definitely don't want to go back to coding, but I'm thinking of doing something like IAM/okta/cyberark stuff. Experienced folks, please help. I literally don't know where am I headed in life

How do i make a move to change career? I feel so stuck with this daily routine and this Job is not exciting me anymore it's been 2 years in a role but I am afraid what if i find a worst role than the current one. I am working as a associate consultant and supporting a non tech project here. Thanks!

I hate working 9 to 5. I simply hate it. I loathe it. I worked so hard all my effing life to get here and I hate it. I learnt DP and what not. It’s been 1.5 years since I started working full time as a software engineer and it just keeps getting worse. I make upwards of 15 lpa. It’s not that I have a bad work environment, it’s great. It’s just that I feel absolutely rotten working a 9 to 5 as a software engineer. Ideally, I would like to own a small business of my own. Despite watching hours of content on how to do that, I haven’t been able to come up with anything that seems like it’s gonna work, you know… Thinking of doing an MBA but that’s BS too, right? It feels like very soon I’m just gonna quit and be broke. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It feels like my life is over at 23. Kill me now. My question to you is first, am I alone?, second, can I help you in your business in any possible way?, third, should I do an MBA?

I have over 15 years of experience working in IT and feel stuck here with no growth. At this juncture I am worried if I can get any offers outside as my skills are not great and I feel someone with around 5 years exp can do. Most of the work I did is a middle man work between business and developers either a lead or manager etc. any suggestions? On what path should I choose?

I am a senior manager in a software company, in my 40s , in the cloud operations domain. I have no post grad ,no certs , and playing a people leader role, no technical knowledge (i am technically inclined but have not made learning tech my priority), I feel like I am not employable if I get fired. I feel like I need to do something to get employable, what can I do?

I am planning to shut down my IT services company after 5 years of operations. The journey has been bitter-sweet but it is becoming unsustainable and putting me under a great amount of duress. I have been a trained ML engineer but since my startup have gone on to taking up mostly non-programming roles/ work. I have tried getting back to development role but have not been able to get back in the same stride as I used to. Lately, I’ve been picking up some consulting work as a Software Architect. Basis, that info, need some advice on how I can plan my professional journey ahead.
