How do working couples manage their life?

To all married and working couples out there, how do you folks manage 8hours of work as well as cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner? Do you guys survive on outside food or have a maid for cooking? If you both have divided the responsibilities then who does what?

Hello married folks, how have you been managing work after getting married and having kids. Sometimes it gets really hectic to give time to all things at once. Your spouse, kids, work, parents, exercise, upskilling etc. What suggestions do you have with regards to this?

Just want to understand if it’s manageable when both are working. Like given the current cost of things in tier 2+ cities and uncertain employment scenes… I can’t imagine a household going well enough without both earning. If you’re such a couple, can you share some thought? I would also imagine at some point ur job companies may be in different cities ?

It’s a question that many men want to discuss but can’t in the open. How do the costs of life split between you and your partner? If you’re both making the same money, is it 50-50? Or do you each handle certain categories of expenses without getting into the details?

Married couples living in Bangalore without family and having a toddler - want to know what does your routine look like? Do you guys get to go out for dinner? Do you get to spend quality time with your partner? Are you able to take out time for yourself? Are you guys able to travel frequently for small trips? Do you guys get irritated? 😥

29 M, IT professional in Bangalore earning around 65k/month. My parents are looking for girl(non-working) for my marriage later this year.(already knows girls family). But I am worried about all the expenses post-marriage as Bangalore is already a costly city and I will only be sole-earner. Need your honest advices here on how to manage expenses or look for a working partner.

In current time which one is better? If both the partners working or only 1 working? Also, which is best 1 kid or 2 kid? Please share your thoughts on this. Thanks.

Is it just me or is even a job at the best Tech companies just don’t make any sense for women? There are always women who have great family support or husbands that are understanding and encouraging. But generally why does it seem like becoming a senior woman in tech even at the best places is sort of unattractive and significantly increases your odds of “failure” outside of work e.g. divorce,having kids late? Interested for thoughts from both men and women.
