Going to be a new / first time manager

Hey guys, i am going to be a manager for the first time in a company that i have been working at for 3 years and I have people joining me from monday.. any tips for being a good manager?

Got a new job after being at my previous company for 3 years, and it's my first in office job in a while. Any tips to fight off the first day jitters? I'm pretty neverous, tbh.

Recently started at my new job, and have my first ‘catch up’ with my manager’s manager. I know this is little to no context, but any general questions I should ask during this 1:1? I definitely need to make a good impression, especially considering the current climate. Thanks!

I have worked from home only till now, w limited interaction with my coworkers. Starting new job I'll go in-office for the first time. Need *serious* advices/tips/what to do/what nots etc. If it helps, it's an agency.

I am starting as an Associate in a management consulting firm. From all the more experienced folks out here, would love to hear about your first job experiences. Recently graduated this year (23). Will be joining an MNC in a few days. Can someone share ANY tips/things to keep in mind for someone like me with zero corporate exposure (except some internships, but that probably doesn't count).

Hey folks, I'm joining a company soon. Had joined my prev company during Covid and hence never had my actual Day 1 in "office-office" (Zoom life), so very excited for this new job. Interested to know your Day 1 experiences.
