Net Worth- A healthy comparison
I wanted to share my Net Worth as per INDmoney, and understand how I compare with the others here. The goal is to reset my goal after looking at people doing better than me, and provide some guidance to people that might be aiming to reach their own goal. Total YOE- 6 CTC- 34LPA (since last month) SIP- 70k (MF) + 30k (stocks) Investing since- Jan 2020 First SIP value- 15k Let me know where you all are at, and if you can share some insights to help improve mine

Definitely agree with that. Comparisons have always given me a boost, driven by jealousy (not envy). Thus wanted to see where others are at.

You started your mutual funds early and aggressively? Or was it a lumpsum investment
Mix of both. After the lockdown, I used to have leftover salary after investments. Invested that as lumpsum.
But yeah, increased SIP value aggressively. At a salary of 70k, I had an SIP of 45k back in 2021.
How much is in your bank account, curious to know how much did you save in total since 2020,for me after shifting to Bangalore my savings has really taken a toll.
2.5L in bank for emergencies.
I’ve been blessed to have my own house and remote job for the last 3.5 years. Saved up a lot because of that.
Might be shifting to Gurgaon soon, so savings will take a hit
Also, curious to know what you look after at Grab.
I used the app extensively when I was in Indonesia. Is the situation better there now?

I am in final year just passing out in next 3 months... What should I do to accumulate a good sum before 30 years of age . I am currently 22
Start with an SIP from your first paycheque, with whatever amount you are comfortable with.
With each pay hike, the proportion of your monthly investment should go higher than the percentage of your expenses.
Also, define what is the amount you want by the age of 30. Using a comfortable CAGR of 12%, look at how much you need to invest each month to reach your number (it may scare you, but trust the process, and you will reach that number)
