Equivalent German Salary for Indian 45 LPA
Hello everyone, I'm currently in the final stages of interviews with a German firm, but I have some concerns about the salary. Could someone please advise me on what would be the equivalent salary for 45 Lpa in India? Thanks in advance for your insights!

According to PPP, a salary of INR 4500000 in India is equivalent to INR 13962765.26 or EUR 152569.43 in Germany.
That's 3.10x times the amount you make in India

Don't join! Germany is not the place to be for tech roles and you will face racism in EU. Not to mention very high tax-rate
IMHO only USA is worth it from financial point of view

Not to spoil the party here, moving abroad has its own set of learnings.
Yearly appraisals in % terms are lower in Europe compared to India.
European salaries tend to be really low, the whole continent is full of cheap ass companies

If earning more money is the reason, go to Dubai.

Whatever they offer will not be worth it for you, given you are getting a good pay here.
Unless it’s Faang or you are going at a mid management level like senior engg manager, it’s not worth it
Also be prepared for long appointment times at hospitals, casual racism and having to do all your chores.
Several friends moved there, and everyone said it’s not worth it. And considering coming back.

Hear me out
Indians still drool over gora skin and foreign life experience, search in india and you'll get a better offer here.
Unless of course you want to remain there

I can get a better offer here. But I am just trying to experience a different culture with good WLB and pay.

Got it
If you are going have a family who would be dependent on you then 110-120k would be good. If you are alone even 80-90k is good enough
For a rough starting figure, I would suggest looking at the ppp through the big mac index.
