A junior of mine( in YOE) has received a Sr. Data Analyst role at an MNC( well-renowned).

Can you please suggest if the salary structure looks good or not?

CTC: 19LPA Fixed: 18LPA Variable: 1L Location: Bangalore.( There were options for Gurgaon & Chennai too) YoE: ~5

A good profile with 3 YOE should be capable of getting this sort of pay. So again depends on the profile.

Yeah right, I agree. However, the candidate was in a different field for the first 3.5 years. & Then switched to Analytics. Also, as you said, the previous CTC was low( ~50% of this).

SDA and the CTC for 5yoe seems low to me. But it depends a lot on BG of the person too ig. (Just comparing it against my current profile and pay)

If all 5yoe was in analytics, then analytics manager position is easily achievable. Pay in that role is usually 30LPA+

Current CTC : 12 fixed (in a good pbc) I am getting an offer for 20 fixed (but requires me to relocate to Bangalore)

should I take this, or hunt for more I was initially aiming for at least 24-28, but this is very close to what I wanted...
