What are your opinions on moving in a single room from shared age 24 2+yoe

Recently my friends moved to 4 BHK apartment near Domlur. The total rent is coming to 1 Lakh for unfurnished apartment, it has some really good amenities. All 3 of them have offices nearby, and I work remotely for a US startup. After, furnishing and one time setup, just rent is coming to 32k. I am unsure, whether moving there would be worth it or not for me. I really enjoy company of my friends, but the rent for me is expensive + 6 months deposit. I can definitely afford to pay that much rent, but not sure whether it’ll be good decision or not because of market conditions and tons of uncertainties. I cannot back out if I say yes. I am super confused, one side I want to stay with friends and on other side rent and deposit is worrying me. Would love to hear thoughts of you all. 🙏

I am moving in banglore and will be earning plenty, around 1.6 lakhs per month. But some friends are suggesting me to book a pg for some days until you find the perfect apartment with good flatmates. I don't want to live alone in 1bhk flat. It will be my first time on a onsite job. Please guide me how can I mange this. Company is giving me first 2 weeks of hotel stay

Asking from people who consider that one should strive towards owning a house (or an even stronger stance that not owning a house is not an option for them). Really want to understand their POV. Why are you comfortable taking 15-20 year loans for the dream of owning a house?

My last salary was 53,000 per month. Now after switch I am making 1,10,000 per month. Last year. I was living in a Rs.10,000 room but I want to move to a better place in about 20 to 25,000 budget because now my salary is 1 lakh+ but I don’t think that is the best thing to do because you shouldn’t increase your expenses along with your income, or you will not end up saving anything. But I feel like if I am moving out of my home to live in a different city ( Bangalore ) then I should be living nicely What should I do here? Also, Did your expenses increase as a bachelor on increasing salary?

I am just relating with our parent's era how they could afford to get house and do so much with limited income at that time in 90s. But with our gen I keep seeing these exorbitant prices. Do you think and plan on making investment to buy, I know many folks have very good income here and it might seem not so tough but generally speaking how shd one plan to get these things into place for house, education, etc etc with such rising prices.

29F, I still stay with my parents Working, earning >1lpm, remote work Over the years, I have realised I own no assets. Everything has been bought by parents EVERYTHING My mom would always make sure she or dad paid, saying you can keep your money for yourself (which I initially thought was very sweet) Now I see how I am dependent on them for all What ever I have bought can be put into a polythene bag and that's all my life (I generally spend on food and stuff that goes away) I have bought certain items for family or the house, but that isn't mine obviously I need to get out of the house, my mental health is at the edge

Hello BLR folks, I currently stay with my cousin’s fam but want to move out. I have observed a lot of good pgs have high prices like 12k for double sharing and stuff like that. My main requirement is privacy and a personal space. I work remotely so flexible on locations too but i think i should go for a 1bhk or a 1rk. What do you guys suggest? Also please share best ways to find a house here?
