Hello BLR folks, I currently stay with my cousin’s fam but want to move out. I have observed a lot of good pgs have high prices like 12k for double sharing and stuff like that. My main requirement is privacy and a personal space. I work remotely so flexible on locations too but i think i should go for a 1bhk or a 1rk.

What do you guys suggest? Also please share best ways to find a house here?

Hi All!  Moving to BLR as I got a placement in college. I am really confused whether to choose a single room accommodation or a PG and where/how to find one. Any suggestions from BLR people would be helpful.

My preferences are:
- need a private room for myself.
- prefer PGs over apartments as it includes meals.
   (also open to getting an apartment if tiffin services are available around there. Really, not sure).
- what's the water situation rn?

Looking for a PG/accom. near Indiranagar. Need suggestions.

Need to switch houses soon (humongous rental hikes have hit my society haha), can folks here provide some stats on what they’re paying, in which area, and how long ago they moved in. 

Also suggest some decent places to look for, area don’t matter, I’m mostly looking for metro proximity.

Rental situation in BLR

I'll be moving to Bangalore by the end of the month. I am not sure about should I book the PG or room first before moving there, or first go there and then book it.
Seeing all the posts about people not able to find rooms just scares me.
The office is in HSR, which areas should I look in.
to PGs like stanza living or similar any good?

How are PGs in BLR

I'll be moving to Blr for 2-3 months, have to WFO, office in Whitefield.

I'm very confused about finding an accommodation. 

Could you suggest any reliable sources where I can find accommodation and what areas will provide an affordable yet good accommodation. 

I searched for PGs and flats, PGs seem too congested and seem too overpriced, while flats have high deposit and lock ins.

I have stayed in BTM Layout 1st Stage in one pg from mid-2017 to March 2020 . I was paying 8000 for a room with an attached bathroom.

I am a software engineer with 2 years of experience and have been jobless since Dec 2022. I have decided that I can no longer stay at home and want to move to a city where I can network, upskill and hopefully find a job in the coming months.

I will be really grateful if anyone reading this could suggest me how do I go about finding a good pg accommodation for 10-11K monthly rent. I prefer to stay single and have an attached bathroom. 

What could be some areas where I can find accommodation for cheap and within my pre-conceived budget? I have very limited savings from my last job and want to utilise it judiciously before finding my next job. I will really appreciate your assistance 🙏

I am thinking of booking an Airbnb for 2-3 days and then start looking. But Bangalore is huge and not all areas are appropriate to stay especially for job-seekers who might be required to travel.

What is the best way to go about finding a low budget PG accommodation?

Moving to BLR in Dec for work. Office is in MG Road. I want my commute time to be 30-40 minutes max (in metro). 

Q1) What places should I look for renting a studio/1bhk at around 15k-18k rent? 
Q2) What should budget be for fully furnished?
Q3) Any broker or homeowner reccos?

I am planning on moving to BLR next year, most likely in Feb but definitely before the first quarter. The plan is to stay for a year to network amongst the startup crowd. It's totally fine if the property is in the proximity of 3-5km from the tech park.
