I’m not sure which team will I get @ Flipkart, anyone who I can connect with?
Received competing offers from the 2 companies and really confused about which one to join.
Numbers are in INR LPA.
Flipkart: Fixed- 66 Bonus- 10 ESOPs- 42 (vests over 4 years and you are allowed to keep them even after resigning. Given a Flipkart IPO is inevitable in the next 10 years, these are not worthless ESOPs)
Goldman Sachs: Fixed- 67 Bonus- 21 (This is the "whisper" bonus told by the HR and will not be mentioned on the offer letter. However, upon enquiring with my GS friends, it seems you almost always get this amount in the 1st year. 2nd year onwards the bonus is a function of GS + your performance and can be between 10-40%.)
Really confused as both the numbers seem similar to me in terms of comp. Other factors to consider:
Would appreciate any pointers especially from folks at Flipkart and GS.
What’s your team within GS? Mind DMing me?
DMed
I think you should first check about the work in the team you are joining. Plus wlb if you care about it

Hi Guys,
I am having 3 YOE and i got offers from both startup and Goldman Sachs. I am confused on which should I join. Can you guys help me here?
Pros of startup( after discussion with hiring manger and employee of the same team)
Any news on who is getting it, what's like an average payout for eligible employees? As per the news article, approx 19000 employees are getting it. Anyone has insider info?
Got around 3CR
Hey folks given flipkart is in line for IPO(eventually) is it a good time to get in for those 4-5 lakhs worth of ESOPs yearly?
Could this give good returns when it eventually goes for IPO?
does anyone know if flipkart give esops or RSUs to their employees?
in esops you have to pay money to get them after vesting whereas RSUs are given directly upon vesting without you paying money
