Fresher in Cloud Architect
I am a fresher currently learning AWS Cloud, what kind of questions will be there in interviews if i say i know aws cloud? If so what is the starting salary?
From a career standpoint, you could try to choose your niche from the vast ocean of Cloud & go deep in there. To name a few, here are a few dimensions in Cloud that I've come across, namely 1) Infrastructure Modernization, 2) Application Transformation & Migration, 3) Agile Product Development, 4) DevOps & CI/CD, 5) Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) 6) Zero-Trust Network Security etc.
I suggest you choose one particular area, for example Data Engineering in AWS or Containerisation in AWS, and talk about your knowledge there. You could also showcase some of your projects on GitHub.
Although I must add that I'm not quite sure whether freshers are indeed considered for Cloud Architect roles. More often than not, the people who are in Cloud Architect roles right now, are coming from Tech-focused academic & professional backgrounds. Fortunately or unfortunately, the entry barriers are high for this space, which I did experience even coming with Datacentre Infrastructure experience. All sorts of organizations have a good amount of technical investment over the years, they are at various stages of Cloud adoption. So to build or sell suitable Cloud architecture to them, it's preferred to have someone who can marry the new tech with the old stuff.
