From PM to Dev

Guys I have around 2.5 yes if exp in Pming but I want to switch to dev role (backend engineering) So should I apply to entry level SDE roles or my pm experience will be counted here?

Hi, my friend did pm to design transition, he had to start from the bottom.

Was pm at msft bing, and transitioned to a design studio at a really bad pay. In the end he is happy and is doing what he loves.

Mostly you might need to take some pay cut. But as a dev you’ll recover the loses really fast.
