I’ve worked at Genpact, and while it provides job security and doesn’t lay off employees, the pay and compensation are quite poor. Career and financial growth opportunities are also very limited. Despite the job security, I would still recommend going for Deloitte.

Genpact provides consistency and is an excellent business process manager.

However, especially in strategy and advisory roles, Deloitte offers faster career advancement, complex assignments, and worldwide exposure. I ultimately decided on Deloitte because of its market reputation and active consulting environment. Your career goals are the main factor in your decision.

I understand that your friend is important to you. But, just because he’s working at Genpact, it doesn’t mean you also need to be there. Of course, if he refers you to the company and you get through the recruitment process, it would benefit you and him, both. But, between Genpact vs Deloitte, if you really want to make wise career choice, I think Deloitte can be a better option.
