Grapevine Feature Suggestions

Hey @grapevine, loving the platform. Some suggestions to make the experience more interesting.

  1. Collapse/ Expand feature in comment replies. If a particular comment under a post has 40 replies, then I can check out the next comment only after scrolling through all 40.

  2. A community to provide suggestions for grapevine or a profile we could tag.

  3. Combine salaries for a same role together and provide an expand option to view individual salaries based on experience.

  4. Search: Show sorting for search page. Popular vs New as sometimes I come across very old posts on the top.

  5. Search key word : I am shown a lot of search results. But I'm not even sure how they are related to the key word as I don't see the key word being used in the headline or content. Any filter like key word in title or key word in description or key word in comment or relevant to key word can make this experience wonderful.

  6. What's the duration of Popular posts in the home page as I don't want to interact with posts which are almost a month old.

Thank you

thanks so much for your post.

  1. The collapse feature is already there. Collapses a comment as you tap on it. Do you not have it? In that case I'll check it
  2. You can always tag me @Micheal_Scott or @NewsAnchor or @UnpaidIntern
  3. We want to work on this. good suggestion. Just been blocked on bandwidth on our small-ish team 4 and 5. Our search is admittedly broken and we need to fix many things here
  4. So we show you the best/most relevant posts from last 2-3 weeks. Once you've seen most of those posts you should get into a state where you only see daily day on day posts. Another way is to just use the Recent toggle. I personally use that

Thanks for all the suggestions. Appreciate it a lot!
