Background: Working with B2B SaaS startup raised $165m till now.
No appraisal this year.
Multiple changes of top management, a boss added between reporting manager and CEO
10 months into, the role has changed from what was told, and I envisioned. Day to day work has become running behind people, taking statuses and giving to manager.
Mentally and physically draining(extensive travel)
Sat with manager, told this is not working for me. Can the role be developed into analytical or strategic approach or new role in another department?
Three things can happen now
- Manager actually gets me something better
- Manager does nothing
- Manager fires me because I don't like the work
Tbh, all three work for me.
Also, if you are hiring I'm open to chatting.
