Help me decide Startup vs Faang like company.

I have 8 years of experience working as a software Engineer, i worked for 3 startups in these 8 years, Now I am planning to switch and I have 2 offers one from a seed stage start-up and one from Faang like company. What should I choose. I am more into front end development, pay in startup is 10% less which is not a concern for me. I like working in startups, my only concern is how it will affect me in the long term maybe after 5-10 years.

Imo, since you've already worked in startups fro past 8 years. You should join faang like company. It will make you a well rounded engineer. Might work with scabale products and will get to know new people. If you don't like the enviornment you can also join any other startup

Agree to this, moreover I feel you’ll learn some standard practices/processes which will yield value once you start climbing up the leadership ladder.

It wont. Working in faang is more of like working like a robot.

Idk why this is a question unless seed stage startup has something which is making it a hard decision. Given ur history of just startups, it makes more sense to try out faang like company

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working as a SDE at a startup with about three years of experience. I'm considering making a move, and I've received an offer from an early-stage startup where I'd be joining as a founding engineer. My main m...
