How much of a hike should I ask?

I have been working in Razorpay for more than a year. This is my first job. I have been approached by an early age profitable start up. My life at Razorpay is pretty comfortable at least for most of the days. And I know job at this new company would definitely be more demanding than the current one. I would have to wear many hats as I would be the only developer there. I make around 18LPA cash at RZP. How much should I at least ask for?

Op, in this market, my advise would be stick with razorpay.

With deep recession, assume there won’t be big funding round coming soon. If founders have put in their own money then ask for how long the runway is.

Not sure if the US markets uncertainty is being projected onto the Indian startup market.

If the company is earning independently and not dependent on funds from investors, could be worth exploring. Especially if you get to pick up some new skills.

Yes, the company's profit has break even its current expenses, and has also just secured series B

Simply ask RZP to give a hike based on whatever the startup is willing to offer. At this point, avoid switching.

That is not acceptable to me, It would make sense If I was switching just for raise. Anyway I already have made the decision and switched.

Their expenses are managed by the company profit itself. The company is 3 years old, they are launching another branch of it, for which I am being hired. They didn't raise any money except the seed round, For the same reason they are not hiring many, and I'll be the sole developer there in frontend.
