How should I handle this situation?
My manager went on a vacation. She came back and had a meeting on some ongoing issue. I asked her "How was your vacation?" ( it was a 9 day vacation). She said: Umm, leave that and let's talk about the issue.I was like okay okay! It would have been nice to atleast say in a short sentence - was a nice trip, lets talk about the issue though. Am I overthinking? Or was that a douche move and ignore my question where I was being nice to her. CTC: 19 LPA

Overthinking-She just came back from vacation. Probably got a shit ton going on. And you guys are in a meeting to address an issue- not a touch base call. No need to react, just get the issue on hand resolved.
- Give bad feedback about her because she wasn't ultra-perfect-nice in one instance out of the hundreds of hours she spends speaking with you
- Give good feedback about the guys you get along with because they are your bros and they say the terriblest things but not because they are douches but because you trust each other and you're bros
- Never ask yourself why women have a harder time getting ahead career-wise when there is no discrimination at play
