How to find hackathons in Bengaluru?

Hey Folks, I'm a software engineer with around 2yoe. My goal for this year is to get very good at tech (frontend and Backend). Currently I'm a Frontend Engineer working with React.

I've selected Golang for the backend in order to create software.

I want to start participating by the end of this year and next in many hackathons. I tried searching on Google but there are a lot of fake sites giving 0 information regarding this.

How do I find where hackathons are happening in and around the city?

I've come across quite a few folks who right now contribute to open source(specifically onto cncf projects) in Bangalore. That could be a good starting point

How can I be a part of such a group? How do I approach these guys?

I know these are not hackathons, but open source contribution is highly regarded and it makes you a better developer. Also, most CNCF projects are written in Golang

No answers yet, if this was a discussion related to the salary. Everyone would have jumped in it. But no one wants to talk about tech in general. Only a few
