Start a monthly SIP in any mutual fund or Index Fund. My Recommendation: Start a SIP either in Parag Parikh Tax Saver Fund or Parag Parikh Flexi Cap fund. There is a lock in of 3 years in Parag Parikh tax saver fund. https://amc.ppfas.com/
Kyu kre wo tax saver as a student? Jab ki tax benefit nhi h??? Wtf? Don't push in the wrong direction.
ELSS can be considered for investment also even if you don't claim tax deduction. I prefer the lockin as we are invested for at least three years and not tempted to withdraw. Have given other options as well which do not have a lockin.
If you start with some simple equity linked mutual funds, you end up investing in stocks anyway.
