HR process

so i got through the interviews and the HR is currently asking for my current company's offer letter.

I'm not sure why they would need that or if I can refuse that in any way.

They ask that to check if the current CTC is the same as what you have mentioned to them during your initial rounds. If you got an increment, that letter should ideally work too.

I’d suggest not to refuse it because it may look bad on your candidature. Is there any reason though why you want to refuse it?

I've given them the increment letter, in also guessing that they want to verify the notice period

Share only the CTC part of the offer letter, they should be ok with it. If they still insist, share the letter with the company name and any other identifiable features like logo, seal etc masked.
