Honestly, I don’t see point in investing 2 years especially when world is becoming more skill-driven than degrees.
At the same time, you need a peacock feather (adopted terminology my MBA prof) to stand apart from the crowd. Yes, MBA has a great “signalling” considering everything else isn’t screwed up.
Considering these 2 polar directions, 1-yr makes sense as it can add something lifelong with minimal (time) investments.
Consulting, Finance - I think both sets have equal opportunities, not such a huge difference that you can pass or the other.
P.S. - Look for 1-yr full time MBA programs at IIMs, they give good exit opportunities.
