A generic 1-1 discussion with some easy topics like what are the areas I've worked on and why I want to switch. My interview lasted for 10 mins and it was actually a cakewalk. Nothing to be worried about.

Is the managerial round elimination round?? as my interviewer asked a lot of technical questions in it, my 1st round went quite well but the 2nd round I.e. managerial round was not so well. And it lasted for complete 30 mins. Should I be worried.

Mine was a mix of some behavioral stuff, like how I’d handle team issues, and a few technical questions based on my resume. They definitely wanted to see how well I understood what I’d worked on, but it wasn’t a deep dive. I'd say just be ready to talk through your projects confidently and show that you’re clear in your thought process.

Honestly, it wasn’t super technical. They were more focused on past projects, challenges I’ve faced, and how I work in a team. One question that got to me was when they asked me about a time I disagreed a lead and how I handled it.

The Infosys manager round questions generally has to do with what job you used to do previously? Why are you switching companies? If the previous company served a different industry why do you want to be a part of IT industry all of a sudden? It’s a very basic round. Just don’t get nervous, otherwise they will grill you.

Oh God! For me, Infosys manager round interview questions were so terrifying. I had such a terrible experience. Actually, it wasn’t the questions, I was really very nervous and didn’t know what to respond. They asked me where do you see yourself in 5 years kind of questions. But, I couldn’t answer. My bad.

I’m not quite sure if there’s anything unique with infosys managerial round interview questions. Mujhe toh lagta hai, in every company the managerial questions are the same only. If you’re experienced then they would ask you questions related to the work you’ve done. If you are not then they might ask you general questions. But, a common question they ask most people and that is why do you want to work with this company.

I cracked the Infosys interview with the manager. The person who took my interview was really chill and since it was my first job so he didn’t intimidate me by asking all technical questions. He asked me basic Infosys managerial round interview questions like where do I live, what did I study and what made me choose to apply for an analyst role.

Did you get the offer? How much time does it take for the whole process

Mostly the questions were from the project and what domain we worked on, what particular tech stack we used, why we are planning to switch. And many more behavioural questions along with it. Any defect tracking tool we use Or not?
