Is Slowing Down a Sin?

What today to you feels like a sin but is actually not?

I’ll start: Taking a sabbatical from work to recoup and rejuvenate feels like a sin as I’ll miss out on growth but should not be so if it's for my wellbeing.

Did you take sabbatical leave before ?if you did, are you proud of it or guilty of it and your suggestions for the ones who are planning to take apart from the obvious financial obligations

I love my current role and the flexibility it offers for my family life. But seeing others advance is making me question my choices. Has anyone else intentionally slowed their career progression? Do you regret it or feel it was worth it?
