It is literally sucking the life out of me working for 12 13 hours daily sometimes even on weekends..The stress is to much now affecting me mentally literally crying myself to sleep every single day..thinking of putting down the papers but currently having no offers in hand..what should i do??

Nothing is worth if its taking a toll on your mental and physical health. Hope you have some savings to run for one or two month until you find a job. Also did you explore taking few days sick leave and apply prepare for interviews ?

yes thankfully my parents are supporting so can move back to my home to save more..have a current runway of 3 4 months till then can upskill myself

I would recommend to get your savings up to 6-8 months of runway before quitting.

Meanwhile, try quiet quitting if possible.

Hang there buddy!

Until you get an offer, markets are rough, valuations are down. Tech salary correction is happening.

Focus on getting an offer, take out time to upskill and apply to as many companies you can.

It will hurt a bit, but that's how it is!

@LumpySting34 have been there, have done that

All the best with what you are going through. My suggestions - start actively applying to new places, meeting new people, and alternatively pursuing something that you enjoy. Just having these 1-2 additional things in daily life to do, helped me always remind myself that I am already building an alternate path forward.

Best wishes!

Hey there, I have quit. How long could it take to land me somewhere again? I have been trying to upskill myself but give me some suggestions. I feel lost as it has been few months.

Why you are working 12-13 hrs

Fault in you not in your company!

Sharing my comment from a similar post..

If you have the financial cushion for 6 months and you feel anxiety won't eat you up after putting down papers, then go for it.
I won't give any blanket advice, either YOLO or Hustle it out, cuz everyone's circumstances and mental strength is different . Someone who wants to be a CXO vs a freelancer with high paying clients but nomadic life will make decisions differently
But if you can endure the slight anxiety that comes with it + have enough cover then take a break but have an accountability in place. Its easy to lose track of time and goals.

Calculate how many months you can afford to cruise without a salary. And how long it would take to find a new job. Based on that you can take a decision.
You can also take a full break for sometime if possible.
