I have recently been layed off from my current company and I'm going to start my hunting process again.

What is yoe? Why still hunting? One of senior developer who works under me got job, he is not talented either. I am surprised why does it take so much time?
Was laid off in December. It was a bad experience mentally, worked so hard and was let go in a snap.
Took me a month's time to get 2 offers. Possibly the situation wasn't as bad as it is now. Plus I had saved enough to take for rainy days
Suggestion: Don't freak out. You are not the only one in this situation and it won't last for long(hopes). If possible, go and travel. Comeback afresh. Brush up for interviews again.
