Lookback

Yesterday I completed 10 years of career in consulting. Started with a Big 4 and then moved to another consulting giant Accenture Strategy 2 years ago. In this tenure ,I have met a lot of talented people, worked with some of the smartest ones and travelled the world like anything. Now looking for the next 10 years of better work life balance :P .

@LigmaBallsach I want to get into consulting. Seeing the outside picture has me excited and scared.

I like work which is project based, keep my mind working. Monotonous same repeated work bogs me down.
I love my sleep too though. Two minds to be honest

Can you advice? How should I get into management consulting? Background: MBA in marketing, 6YOE across business/ generalist verticals

You can try for industry based consulting in companies like Accenture Strategy, Capgemini Invent etc , but mind you the work they do is not top notch. You can also try your luck in MBB it's a tough nut to crack though.

I am not in the market unit so the highest I can be is a MD.
