Managing a 2 months old baby with work
Dear Fellas,
I hope who so ever is reading this post is doing great.
I need a personal advice from all of you who have started 30's journey with a wife and newly born kid ( 2-3 months old).
I am working with analytics role with a Edtech renowned company for 2 years now. Due to following reason I feel like I to switch :
- Job insecurity ( lay offs) - (however they don't have any replacement to my role.)
- Very short sighted leaders.
- Very low increments even with maximum ratings.
- Sir & Ma'am like culture.
- They poke for working from home even with genuine reasons.
- Strictly time bounded culture.
- Less chances for promotion as sometimes I give priority to my personal life.
So I want a suggestion that does it sound good to rejoin to the analytics consulting roles. Will that make my life easy or this is not the right time looking at the market situation.

You have my empathy, try for chiller roles. Maybe service based companies will work good here
