MBA for product manager role

I am a frontend engineer in a startup with a CTC of 7. I am also from a tier 3 engineering college graduated last month. I want to become a product manager in the future. So my question is what things I should to achieve my goal. Will doing an MBA help me, if yes which is more better MBA from old IIM’s, ISB or global MBA ?

first of all think about :- why pm? then why not transfer internally if pm only? See if you like pm role first. why mba?if u don't like coding, then its fine if u want to change field. Learn about various avenues after mba

IMO I can get a good paying PM role after an MBA as compared to not doing an MBA and applying for it.
I am maybe wrong.

Seems like u are adamant for pm role. As pm role is over hyped nowadays and super competitive, mba is surely going to help u opportunity wise not learning 😅 top tier mba colleges only. Global mba is fantastic, but u need money. A lot of them

Since you're from a tier 3 College, I would strongly recommend you to go for a goodmba if you want to transition to a pm role. Without it, there would always be a glass ceiling in terms of the quality of firms you can get into. Afaik, both isb and old IIMs are more or less on par when it comes to product specifically and this is a problem you have to worry about when you secure admits in both
